The EA is completely free because the broker pays us a small share of its own fee when you trade through our partner link — you never pay anything extra. That's the whole deal, and it only works if your account is correctly connected to our partner ID from the start. This page makes sure it is.

First — pick your broker

The free plan works identically at both partner brokers. Pick the one you prefer — or simply the one you've never used before (that makes everything easier):

Can't open a cent account? Both routes above are cent accounts — that's the whole reason $1,000 is enough to run this yourself. Not every country's brokers offer them, which in practice means most US and Canadian residents. Running the EA yourself on a standard account isn't the answer there — MT5 Gold EA is supported on cent accounts, and self-running on a standard account isn't a route we offer. What we point you at instead is the hosted programme — we run a MetaTrader terminal on our own server, logged in to your own account at your own broker. It's a different setup from the self-run EA, with its own minimum of $1,000 and no fee of any kind. It's by application, and the account stays in your name at your broker throughout.

Choose the right account type

— and fund at least $1,000 (which shows as 100,000 units on a cent-type account, the EA's minimum). Why that figure, and what happens if you fund less →

Open the cent type specifically, not the standard one. MT5 Gold EA is supported on cent accounts — it checks the balance at startup and will not trade below USC 100,000 (about USD 1,000). If you've already opened a standard account by mistake, email info@mt5goldea.com and we'll sort out the right route for you, which may be the hosted programme.

We confirm within 24 hours that your account is connected to our partner ID — then your licence is issued and you get the setup guide. Two minutes of your time, and everything after is automatic.

Why this matters: new accounts you open attach to your existing … profile — a referral link can't change that. If we do nothing, your account won't be connected to us and the free plan can't work. Two clean ways forward:

What happens next: we check that your account shows under our partner ID, then email your licence key and the 5-minute setup guide. If the connection didn't take, we'll email you the exact fix instead — it's usually one short message to the broker, and we'd rather sort it now than after you've set everything up.

Can't open a cent account, or would rather not keep a terminal running yourself? The hosted programme has its own short application — the form above is only for licences you run on your own machine.
