Your password is encrypted the moment you send it, shown to us once so we can log the terminal in, and the stored copy is then deleted. It self-destructs automatically if we don't collect it. We will never ask for it by email or chat.
MetaTrader gives you two passwords for the same account. We need the main (trading) password. The investor password is read-only: it can log in but cannot place a single trade, so sending that one means nothing will ever happen on your account. If you are not sure which you have, reset the main password at your broker and send the new one.
