How the engine behaves — not how much it makes
MT5 Gold EA is a free automated gold (XAUUSD) expert advisor for MetaTrader 5. The Telegram channel is where I write about how it actually behaves: what each safeguard does, why it steps aside, what changed in each version, and what a bad week looks like.
What gets posted there
- Safeguard explainers — plain English on what each protection does and, more usefully, when it deliberately stops the engine from trading.
- Version notes — what changed, why it changed, and whether you need to do anything.
- Downtime alerts — a heads-up when something goes down, so you are not the last to know.
- Honest market notes — including the rough stretches. Especially the rough stretches.
What you will not find: trade signals, income claims, screenshots of profits, or anyone telling you what to buy. That is not what this channel is for.
What the software actually is
A single strategy — a straddle entry with capped grid recovery — running on the XAUUSD M5 chart in MetaTrader 5. It is not AI, and I never call it that. It is a rule-based engine with a fixed set of caps and filters, and every one of them is named in public.
The full protection stack
Fourteen safeguards decide when the engine trades, when it stands aside, and when it stops entirely:
What "standing aside" looks like
Most of what the channel covers is this: the moments an automated system is supposed to do nothing. An engine that does not know when to stay out is the dangerous kind.

I build and run this thing myself, and it runs on my own accounts before anyone else's. If you have a question, a human answers it. You can read more about who runs this.

No signals. No income claims. Just how the engine behaves, written as it happens.
